Since being a mom I've realized my daughter is happiest when she is getting her hands dirty, exploring, feeling textures, and just being a kid. I think all babies go through the "I put everything in my mouth stage" even at 20 months. Sand, crayons, and food crumbs—nothing is off limits according to them! It doesn't matter if I sweep the floor daily, she always manages to find the tiniest food crumb! I then find myself chasing her around our apartment asking "what is in your mouth, Mia?," while she goes into a fit of giggles. Thankfully we have not had any major disasters, like writing on walls or herself with permanent marker! I usually try and keep those supplies out of reach.
One day I was making these peanut butter bites (must try them) and she was begging me to let her taste what we were making. I decided why not and let her eat the spoon. She loved it of course and loves sweets...I wonder who she gets this from? Does your little one get into sticky situations and if so are there any lessons you learned?
Wet Ones is giving us the opportunity to share all of the Sticky Situations we have found ourselves in and tips on how to deal with them through their Facebook Contest! Simply log on and share your story and tips, and you can be entered to win an iPad Mini or Six Flags Tickets! I just entered, it doesn’t take long at all, here’s the link to enter:https://www.facebook.com/momcentral/app_248884015238315
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Wet Ones. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating. All opinions are my own. I use wet ones on a daily basis!
