{Ardell Brow and Lash Accelerator}
**I thought I would share some weekly beauty and fashion finds with you all! I love reading these on other blogs. Nothing on here is sponsored. These are products I have found and really love!
I regrettably over plucked my eyebrows in high school and am paying for it now. I have gone months without plucking or waxing just to see if the little bald spots would grow in—no such luck! I have a friend who swears by Rogain for Women to grow her brows. If this doesn’t work, I may try it! I have been applying this serum every night to my lashes and eyebrows. Since having Mia I feel like my lashes have also thinned. I will report back in a few months of the progress. This also got great reviews on makeupalley.com
{Bare Minerals Lip Color in Free Will}
I have been looking for the perfect nude lip color to go with dark eyes. I think I found it! I was at Macy’s the day of New Years and I wanted to do a really smoky eye but realized I didn’t have a nude lip to match. The girl introduced me to this color and I love it! It is the perfect nude for me and doesn’t make my skin look washed out.
I have very dry hair and skin. This has worked so wonderfully on both! I bought mine at Whole Foods, but this one has amazing reviews on Amazon and is half the price of what I paid. I use this on my face and neck at night and my hair when it’s wet. I saw the model, Josie Maran talk about it once in an interview and thought well if it works for her—highly recommend.
The Neiman Marcus for Target collection is 70% off and I gave in and bought these two items online this week. I hope they arrive soon because I have until the 15th to return! I bought the Jason Wu dress in 3T hoping Mia could wear this for Christmas next year. The vest looks fun and of good quality.
This week I went to the real Neiman Marcus for their last call sale and was so excited to actually find some items. I bought this Joie silk blouse, regularly $140, on sale for $55! The shoes are by Casadei and were 70% off! I have been wanting a good pair of nude pumps forever.

I have been a big, some may say huge Bethenny fan since she started on Real Housewives of NY. I loved her drive to succeed, her sarcasm, her realness, and her story of not having enough money in the bank to pay rent. It reminded me when I first moved to LA and was apartment poor, eating pb&j’s and cheese and crackers for dinner. And people wonder why everyone in LA are so skinny! I went to the first taping of her show and loved her energy. I read her first book which helped me look at food in a completely different way and put me on the map to eating better and cleaner. When I heard of the divorce news I wasn’t completely in shock. Jason always seemed to live on the sidelines in their relationship. I don’t really think she ever wanted him a part of her business. She wanted him to have his own job and career. Whatever their issues, I only hope they do the right thing for their daughter. I heard she is moving her show to NYC to co-parent with Jason.

I love Bethenny, too! She was on Ellen this morning talking about her divorce.
ReplyDeleteI have it set on my DVR today. Interested in what she has to say!
Deletehmmm.... i wonder if i can get my hands on some of that argan oil! i've been using BioOil forever. It works wonders on dry skin on my face/body. I'm always up for trying something new though!!

Thanks Rachael for teh sweet comment! I will definitely stop by yours! It does make my hair softer and minimize split ends between cuts! xo
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I was at Target last night (before seeing this post) and thought of you! Saw the Neiman Marcus for Target collection at 70% off too! What a steal. BTW Did you use the oil above on your tummy during pregnancy? I'm looking for a good product. I've heard olive oil is the best... organic & pure, keeps skin free from stretch marks? Suggestions?
ReplyDeleteHey linds! I used Clarins Body Treatment oil. Here is a link to amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002AMUF6K/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=bemibl-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B002AMUF6K
DeleteI know Nordstroms sells it too. It is a little expensive, but I didn't get one stretch mark, so very worth it! I recently heard BioOil is really good too for a less $$ alternative.
