End of 2012 and New Beginnings

IMG_3091

We spent the end of 2012 with my mother-in-law who stayed with us for a week. It was her first time back to Southern California since she was a little girl so we really wanted to show her a good time!

{snuck out for New Year’s to a nearby hotel and bar—so fun!}

It’s always a little bittersweet taking the Christmas decorations down but some big events are coming up this year. Mike’s birthday is this month and Mia turns 2 in March! Also two of my best friends, including this lady (can’t wait to follow along!) and sister-in-law are giving birth this year. For myself, I am back to eating clean and exercising regularly. I hope to document this along the way. I couldn’t be more excited for 2013! Cheers!

  2. Looks like you guys has a great end to 2012! I'm a little jealous that you are so close to the beach... The frozen lakes here in MN just aren't cutting it.

    1. No she got married at the Langham Hotel which is very beautiful too! We like to go for drinks at their bar! You can get married at the gardens too--I am sure it's a pretty penny!
